Sometimes when you restart your computer then your computer shows you the message “BOOTMGR is missing”. And also gives you the option to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart the computer setup. This file is responsible for loading your windows operating system and if it missing then your computer won’t be able to load windows. There are number of reasons possible for this error message.
The most common reason for the BOOTMGR missing error is corrupted system files. Sometimes it can be caused due to operating system upgrade issues and corrupted hard drive sectors. Outdated BIOS (basic input output system) is also may be responsible for this error message. If your computer hard drive is not properly setup in CMOS then it will give you the same message. If the computer is booting from a non-bootable source then this error message comes. Damaged or loose hardware interface cable may also cause this error message.
